Building your multi-channel publication
DITA Publisher automates the processes of your publication from a DITA source and distributes it through the different channels available to create the deliverables of your projects: Paper PDF, digital PDF, website, smartphone applications, etc.
DITA Publisher assembles the text and media elements according to the selected conditional filtering, provides you with a preview or simulation and validation steps, and then automatically directs the content to the composition engine used by the channel that you require.
The composition engines include desktop publishing software that supports XML (Adobe InDesign, InDesign Server, etc.) and automatic composition tools / technologies. In all cases, you can customize templates to obtain the deliverables of your choice labeled with your graphic charters.
ADAPT YOUR PUBLICATION TO YOUR CLIENT SUPPORT
Choose the most appropriate type of deliverable for your target: determine each collection to be published depending on your client support.
CONFIGURE YOUR PUBLICATION FORMAT
Depending on the type of viewing experience you wish to provide (paper or electronic format), transform your publication format: PDF, HTML, XSLT to XML, HTML5, …
MEET CLIENT SUPPORT NEEDS
Meet Client Support needs by offering a standardized publication (DITA) in paper format, easily printable by the in-service support teams, but also quickly accessible in electronic format (computer, tablet and smartphone).
BACK OFFICE OR SAAS
DITA Publisher is accessible via a local network or in SaaS mode, as well as via the web services of the DITA Manager.
From a DITA source (DITA Manager or File System), DITA Publisher:
- Prepares the data and generates the HTML files or the store Apps for DITA Viewer (collections, publications, and so on.)
- Transforms the data into any text format (XML, HTML, RTF, …)
- Generates a ready-to-use publication (PDF printer, digital PDF, etc.)
